Tartiflette and Alpine Wine Drop-In
‘Drop-In’ on the 24th of February from 6pm for a casual and un-ticketed Tartiflette and Alpine Wine Drop-In. We’ve teamed up with famed South London food stall “La Tartiflette” to serve the classic Savoie dish made with potatoes, reblochon cheese, lardon and onions, as well as a vegetarian option made with mushroom and truffle oil, alongside a carefully selected list of Alpine wines available by the glass.
Prepared and cooked on-site, the classic French dish can be enjoyed inside or available to takeaway, alongside The Drop’s main food and drinks menu throughout the evening.
Guests will be able to try characteristically nutty, crisp French Alpine whites and delicate reds, to accompany the rich and warming tartiflette. The list will feature two white wines from the Alsace region: Cave de Hunawihr’s Pinot Gris Reserve and Domaine Rolly Gassmann’s Sylvaner Reserve Millesime; and two elegant, aromatic reds including Dominique Morel’s Chiroubles from Beaujolais; and Domaine des Sables Verts ‘Glouglou’ Saumur-Champigny from the Loire region.
The Drop-In series focuses on a certain wine region or style of wine, with a special dish served on the night to match. The Drop’s events are intended to be a genuinely accessible, delicious and sociable way to discover new wines and develop your palate.
